ICxA Technical Committees are practitioner-led working forums established to advance the body of knowledge in Commissioning, Operational Readiness, and Outcome Assurance.

Putpose of the ICxA Technical Committees
The ICxA Technical Committees exist to help ensure that the profession continues to evolve in response to real-world delivery challenges, operational demands, and emerging leadership needs across complex projects.
Their role is to support the development of credible, practitioner-informed guidance that strengthens readiness, accountability, and successful project outcomes.

Technical Committee – Outcome Assurance

This committee supports the development of thought leadership, guidance, and professional discourse related to outcome-focused governance, evidence-based decision-making, and the conditions required for successful project outcomes.
Technical Committee – Commissioning
Lead: Graham Temke, Global C&SU Projects Execution Manager
This committee focuses on the advancement of commissioning practice, structured verification, systems completion, and the technical disciplines required to support reliable project execution and operational handover.
Technical Committee – Operational Readiness
Lead: Alan Cajueiro, Operational Readiness, Asset Development, Shutdowns | CMRP
This committee supports the advancement of operational readiness as a professional discipline, including organisational preparedness, readiness planning, transition to operations, and the conditions required for assets to perform from day one.
Technical Committee – Operational Readiness Subject Matter Expert
Lead: Renaldo Dos Santos, Process Safety & Loss Prevention Manager | PSG
This committee role supports the advancement of operational readiness as a professional discipline, with a focus on process safety, organisational preparedness, readiness planning, and startup assurance. It promotes the development of practices that ensure assets are delivered safely, risks are effectively managed, and operations are prepared to perform reliably from day one.
How Participation Works
Participation in ICxA Technical Committees is intended for professionals who are able to contribute experience, insight, and practical perspective to the advancement of the discipline.
