He is passionate about developing the next generation of commissioning leaders through mentorship programs, education, and advocacy for commissioning as a strategic leadership function.

Crawford is a seasoned commissioning leader with over 35 years of global experience, including director roles across Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and the UK. He has successfully managed major offshore facility projects valued between $400M and $20B, overseeing all phases from tender through project close-out. Crawford is a recognized commissioning subject matter expert, dedicated mentor, experienced public speaker, and a committed advocate for health, safety, security, and environmental excellence.

Peter is a globally recognised authority in asset lifecycle management, with over 40 years’ experience enhancing critical infrastructure performance across Europe, Asia, and Australia. From the operational frontline of British Rail to shaping international policy, he has pioneered systems-led frameworks that elevate commissioning as the strategic integrator – aligning purpose, performance, and assurance from project inception through to operational excellence.  His work defines commissioning as the cornerstone of outcome-focused governance, enabling resilient, high-value social, economic, and environmental infrastructure systems.

Ann is the Executive Assistant to the ICxA Board, dedicated to serving the commissioning community through exceptional administrative support and coordination.
